Using Tableau in Higher Education

I have the privilege of teaching at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. I teach two courses, Applied Marketing Analytics at the Graduate level and Visualizing Data for Analysis at the Undergraduate level. Back in July I had the pleasure of presenting at the Columbus Tableau User Group to share my journey. I go in depth about utilizing Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep to assist with teaching the students and outline the approach taken to develop a lesson plan. Tableau has proven to be a great way to view data, understand data, and craft truly amazing analysis. As an added bonus, Shu Schiller from Wright State University, did a wonderful presentation on Telling Stories with Data. She did an amazing job of engaging with the audience through a remote setting and I left feeling inspired to try the different approaches she outlined!
